Accountant

Job Description:

As the Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. You will work closely with other departments to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, such as GAAP and IFRS.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, including variance analysis and recommendations for improvement.
• Provide financial analysis and support to other departments, such as marketing and operations.
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders, such as auditors and tax authorities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Develop and implement internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience in accounting or related field.
• Knowledge of accounting standards and regulations, such as GAAP and IFRS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to make informed decisions.
• Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
