Finance Manager

Job Description:

As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of Msosidrop, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. You will work closely with other departments to ensure that financial goals align with overall business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Oversee the development and management of annual budgets and financial plans.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures, ensuring that they are aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Manage financial reporting processes, including month-end close, financial statement preparation, and variance analysis.
• Ensure that accounting records are accurate and complete, and that internal controls are in place and operating effectively.
• Manage cash flow, including forecasting and monitoring of daily cash balances.
• Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as banks, auditors, and tax authorities.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that financial goals align with overall business objectives.
• Hire and manage a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or other professional accounting certification preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in finance or accounting, with a proven track record of success.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to build and manage high-performing teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex financial issues.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Experience with financial software and reporting tools, such as Microsoft Excel, Quickbooks, Xero or other data analysis tools.
• Knowledge of local tax laws and regulations in Tanzania.
