Front-End Developer

Job Overview

We are looking for young, energetic software developers living in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. As a Front-End Developer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining our platform’s user interface. You will work closely with Msosidrop designers and back-end developers to create seamless user experiences for our customers and delivery partners.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop user-friendly and responsive websites and web applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and back-end developers, to ensure the successful delivery of web projects.
• Ensure that websites and applications are optimized for various devices and browsers.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in front-end technologies and implement them accordingly.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of websites and applications to ensure optimal performance.
• Manage and maintain existing websites and applications by updating content and fixing issues as needed.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Proven work experience as a Front-End Developer
• Strong design skills and the ability to create visually appealing and user-friendly websites.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks like React, Angular or Vue.js.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Ability to write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
